These fused glass earrings are made with Italian glass from the island of Murano where special glass has been made for centuries. The base is black glass and the center is an unusual gold dichroic glass. A clear glass surface creates an illusion of depth as if you were looking into a pool of water with a shimmering gold glass floor.
I make these in my studio in Ajo, Arizona where I am surrounded by the creative work of other Ajo artisans. I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoy making them.
